Located in Ormos Marathokampos, Soap Factory Samos welcomes visitors on guided tours through a family business that has been producing handmade olive oil soap for four generations.
During the 30–40 minute tour, you’ll learn the history of the factory, how the family recipe has been preserved through the years and how traditional craftsmanship continues alongside modern production.
The tour takes you through the entire manufacturing process, from raw materials to the finished soap.
You’ll see impressive machinery, including a restored 1905 steam engine and original soap stamping machines that are still part of the factory’s story today.
Soap Factory Samos also showcases its environmentally responsible philosophy.
Visitors discover how the factory operates with a zero-waste approach and a circular production system that makes full use of natural resources.
