Visit the Cave of Pythagoras.
Hidden on the slopes of Mount Kerkis above Marathokampos, the Cave of Pythagoras is one of Samos’ most iconic landmarks.
According to local tradition, this is where the famous philosopher and mathematician sought refuge while escaping the tyrant Polycrates in the 6th century BC.
